Zaton is in an ideal location, having both Dubrovnik and interesting smaller coastal towns on the western side within easy reach. If you are looking for a beach to enjoy your day on, you have a wide choice at your disposal: Vrtovi sunca beach in Orašac (only 3 km from Zaton); Brsečine beach in the picturesque coastal village of the same name (8 km away), the popular Veliki Žali beach, just below the highway (11 km away) or perhaps the well-known Prapratno sandy beach near Ston (44 km away), perfect for a full-day trip – visiting Ston and swimming in Prapratno.

Dubrovnik Old Town is a favourite destination of many tourists. The unique experience of walking along the famous city walls and Stradun will enrich your vacation immensely. Be sure to set aside enough time and, in addition to museums and churches, visit the famous city palaces, Sponza and the Duke’s Palace. Then walk to the old city port and to Porporela, the city breakwater. Sit on the bench and enjoy the view of the island of Lokrum.

The islands of Dubrovnik are a story of their own, enjoyed by both local residents and tourists. From Lokrum, through the Elaphiti Islands to Mljet and Korčula… Each island offers its own charm and beauty.

Just 6 km west of Zaton, there is a wonderful coastal village of Trsteno. Trsteno hides its Arboretum, which extends over approximately 25 hectares. Rich in history, natural vegetation with collections of Mediterranean and exotic plants, the Arboretum also attracted the attention of the film industry, and many scenes of the world-famous TV series “Game of Thrones” were filmed there. Either way, it’s worth a visit.

Konavle, Cavtat, Pelješac… they are all places of great natural beauty, history and tradition. Wherever you decide to spend the day, beautiful nature, rich history, traditional specialties and good wine await you.

If you decide to walk around Dubrovnik, go to the Lapad Bay, a favourite place of both residents and tourists. Walk along the long promenade by the sea, enjoy the view of the entire bay. The promenade will also take you to our Hotel More.
